Digital Transformation in the Department of the Air Force

The Department of the Air Force (DAF) faces a future operational environment characterized by rising complexity, increasingly agile threats, and accelerated innovation cycles. To achieve dominance, the Air Force and Space Force will need to embrace digital transformation to enable rapid design iteration, accelerate development and deployment, and transform sustainment. This report explores ways the DAF can strengthen digital leadership and resourcing, expand on successes, support technical workforce development, and build agile and secure digital enterprise infrastructure.
